Airtel has increased the validity of its Rs. 448 and Rs. 509 plans and Idea has increased the validity of its Rs. 449 and Rs. 509 plans. Both of them are unlimited plans for the prepaid customers.
Airtel’s revised plans
Starting with Airtel’s revised tariff plans, it’s most popular unlimited plan is Rs. 448 plan which was valid for 70 days previously, the plan’s validity has now been increased to 82 days. The Rs. 509 plan which was previously valid for 84 days will now come with a validity of 91 days. Both of the plans offer unlimited local and STD voice calls along with roaming calls. The plans further offer 1GB 3G/4G data and 100 SMS per day. Under these plans, Airtel also provides access to its Airtel TV and Wynk Music.
Idea’s revised plans
Coming to Idea’s plans, its two popular plans are the Rs. 449 and Rs. 509 plans. The revised validity of the Rs. 449 plan is 82 days which was previously 70 days. Whereas the validity of the Rs. 509 plan has been increased to 91 days. Both of these plans include unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. It also includes subscription to Idea’s apps such as Idea Movies and TV, Idea Magazine and more. In Idea’s tariff plans the voice calls are limited to 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week. Whereas in Airtel and Reliance Jio plans, there is no daily or weekly limit on voice calls. Comparing the tariff plans from both operators to the Reliance Jio’s new plans, we can see that Jio is still a bit ahead of the other two operators. Reliance Jio is offering 84 GB data for 84 days for Rs. 399 and the Rs. 449 plan comes with an increased validity of 91 days.
