It is stuffed with a 1.8 GHz quad core Intel Atom Z3560 processor teamed up with PowerVR G6430 graphics unit, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of default memory capacity expandable up to 64 GB. The imaging hardware of the Zenfone 2 ZE550ML comprises of a 13 MP primary camera with LED flash, Real Tone flash and f/2.2 aperture and a 5 MP front facing selfie shooter for video conferencing. The connectivity aspects and OS remain the same as in the previous model. Zenfone 2 ZE550ML makes use of a 3,000 mAh battery and it is a dual SIM device.

Lastly, the Zenfone 2 ZE551ML has two sub-variants based on their hardware aspects. Otherwise, the Zenfone 2 ZE551ML flaunts a 5.5 inch FHD 1080p display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is a dual SIM handset running on Android 5.0 Lollipop and it packs 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB of native storage space that can be expanded up to 64 GB. There is a 13 MP main snapper with LED flash, real tone flash and f/2.0 aperture and a 5 MP selfie snapper onboard. Connectivity aspects onboard include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS and there is a 3,000 mAh battery pumping energy to it.
