To recall, KEYone was introduced at the MWC 2017 event in Barcelona, earlier this year. The phone features a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display along with Physical QWERTY keyboard with capacitive touch. The phone is made by TCL which is the new hardware partner of BlackBerry. The company has also released a teaser video on its social channels that hint at the launch of BlackBerry KEYone. BlackBerry releases the teaser and the press invite with a tagline, “Do more. Different” the same tagline that company uses for its KEYone phone.

BlackBerry KEYone Specifications
The KEYone features a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1620 x 1080 pixels. It is protected with scratch-resistant glass. The phone features 4-row backlit physical QWERTY keyboard with capacitive touch. Dimensions of the phone are 149.3 x 72.5 x 9.4mm and it weighs 180gm. Powering the KEYone is a 2.0 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It packs 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 2TB with a microSD card. The phone runs Android 7.1 Nougat customized with BlackBerry’s security tweaks. The phone sports a 12MP Sony IMX378 sensor as the rear camera with 1.55μm pixel size, and f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera features dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, and 4K video recording. The phone packs an 8MP front-facing camera with the f/2.2 aperture for selfies. The BlackBerry KEYone is powered by 3505mAh battery that comes with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 support. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / GLONASS, NFC, FM Radio and USB 3.1 Type-C. The phone sports a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone also features a Fingerprint sensor on the front. BlackBerry KEYone’s global price is $549. So, in India, the smartphone is expected to be priced as high as Rs 50,000. The phone comes in Black color only.
