The Intex Aqua KAT is fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and flaunts a 4 inch display with WVGA resolution of 480×800 pixels. Powering the device from under its hood is a dual core MediaTek MT6572 processor that is clocked at 1 GHz that is backed by a mere 256 MB of RAM. The Intex phone is bundled with 512 MB of native storage space that can be expanded externally using a micro SD card. Also, there is a 2 MP primary camera onboard that is accompanied with LED flash and a VGA front facing seflie snapper for basic video conferencing on the Intex Aqua KAT. Other goodies of the smartphone include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, dual SIM functionality and a 1,300 mAh battery. The Aqua KAT with its low end specifications could be a direct competitor to the Celkon Campus A35K with a similar pricing. The support for 3G and inclusion of front camera even at such a low pricing is pretty appealing and it could be best suited for the first time smartphone seekers.
