The 6 inch IPS LCD display features 720p HD resolution, which is pretty good in this price range. Most other 6 inch phablets in this price range like Spice Stellar Mi-600 offer qHD resolution, so this can be considered a tad bit sharper with 245 pixels per inches. Chipset used employs 1.2 GHz Quad core processor backed by 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory. We are not yet sure about the branding on chipset, we are happy with 8 GB (5 GB user available) internal storage on board. The chipset will fuel Android 4.4 KitKat for rich android experience. MicroSD support upto 32 GB is also present. Imaging hardware includes an 8 MP rear shooter with BSI Sensor capable of full HD video recording and a secondary 2 MP unit at the front takes care of video calls and selfies. Battery capacity also sounds good at 2800 mAh, but Lava has not yet announced talk time or standby time you can extract out of this. Other features include 3G, 2G (EDGE/GPRS), Bluetooth and GPS. Lava will also provide with Flip cover and scratch guard on this dual SIM phablet. Lava has checked all the right boxes with Magnum X604 at least on paper. The phablet will compete against likes of Spice Stellar Mi-600, Xolo Q200L and Karbonn Titanium S9 lite. While we expect an official launch soon, you can buy it from Snapdeal for 11,399 INR.
