Specifications: Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL
Google Pixel 2, as well as Pixel 2 XL will both be coming out into the markets with more or less the same specifications. The biggest difference between the two phones, like last year, would be screen size. The regular sized Pixel 2 is expected to come out into the markets with a 5 inched display while the larger of the two will feature a 5.5 inched display. However, Pixel 2 XL is expected to come out with slimmer bezels than the regular Pixel 2 – with a body to screen ratio expected to be almost that of 85%. Both the phones are expected to come out with dual stereo speakers and no headphone jack. However, only a few regions would be getting USB Type-C Headphones in the box while others would get a Type-C to 3.5mm adapter. Both the phones would have their display protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The Google Pixel 2 will be powered by a 3,520mAh battery while the smaller of the two would come with a 2700mAh battery. Both these phones would come out with Android Oreo pre-installed and are expected to get a guaranteed update to Android P and Android Q.
