“The Vibe X2 has seen a tremendous response on Flipkart. This showcases not only our capabilities as an e-commerce partner but also the ability to attract a world-class brand to sell a flagship product exclusively on Flipkart,” said Michael Adnani, Vice President – Retail & Head – Strategic Brand Alliances, Flipkart. “The kind of response Vibe X2 has been getting in India is overwhelming. The X2 layered design is a unique proposition from Lenovo and we are happy that consumers are appreciating the innovations that we are bringing to the Indian Smartphone market” said, Sudhin Mathur, Director-Smartphones, Lenovo India. Vibe X2 success story reiterates the fact that an innovative, aggressively priced device in Indian market is bound to work. Directly retailing on online portals allows OEMs to keep the price in check by cutting distribution margin. Ultimately consumers are the real winners, thus it’s all good.
