Display and Processor

The display on both the smartphones is equally captivating as they are 5 inch IPS LCD panels that pack in Full HD 1080p resolution translating to 441 ppi pixel density. Both the panels feature the Gorilla Glass protective coating for superior protection against damage. In terms of raw hardware, the Xiaomi Mi4 comes equipped with a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with Krait 400 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz paired with Adreno 330 graphics unit. In comparison, there is a 2 GHz octa core MediaTek MT6595M processor operating under the hood of the Lenovo offering and it is backed with PowerVR G6200 graphics unit. While both the chipsets arrive with enough power to render smooth performance all through the day, the Xiaomi phone seems to have better multi-tasking capability with 3 GB of RAM, whereas the Lenovo phone packs in only 2 GB.

Camera and Internal Storage

The Lenovo Vibe X2 comes with 32 GB of default storage space. Notably, both the smartphones lack a micro SD card slot onboard for additional storage options.

Battery and Features

The Xiaomi phone is powered by a 3,080 mAh battery, whereas the Lenovo offering packs in only a smaller 2,300 mAh battery. However, Lenovo touts that the Battery Xtension can be purchased additionally as it can render an enhanced backup by another 75 percent.

Connectivity wise, both the smartphones come packed with standard features, but the Mi4 is given USB OTG and Infrared as well, while the Vibe X2 is a dual SIM offering. Otherwise, they both run on Android 4.4 KitKat, but the Mi4 is based on MIUI 6 that packs in more customizable options, whereas the Vibe X2 is topped with Vibe 2.0 UI. Conclusion

Both smartphones are impressive and are considered value for money offerings that exist in the market. However, the Xiaomi Mi4 comes with a better imaging department, larger RAM and enhanced battery. On the other hand, the Lenovo offering comes with a unique design and a capable octa core processor. Availability wise, both the handsets are available only via the e-commerce portal giant Flipkart.
