Update 1: Micromax Canvas A63 got listed on Official site thus confirming Leaked Specifications MMX Newscaster, the reliable source of Micromax Leaks has unveiled the upcoming Micromax Phone, Micromax Canvas Fun A63 in his recent tweets. Two other budget phones from Micromax in the Canvas fun series appeared silently online last week. These were Micromax Canvas Fun A74 (Quick Review) and Micromax Canvas Fun A76 (Quick Review) . This one has managed to grab some attention. Micromax also launched a slightly lower price range Micromax Canvas Bolt A67 (Quick Review) last week.
This phone comes with Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system and will have a smaller 4 Inch display WVGA display giving you a pixel density of 233 ppi (ironically more than that of Doodle 2). This is pretty good display for a budget android device. This phone comes with similar specifications as compared to Micromax Canvas A74. This phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Dual core processor and 512 MB of RAM. The primary camera has been stepped down to 2 MP in this new device. A front VGA camera is also present for Video calling. The battery capacity will be 1500 mAh similar to Canvas Fun A74. Micromax has been moving down the ladder with its budget android devices. It first launched a 5 inch Canvas Fun A76 then a 4.5 inch Canvas Fun A74 and now we have a 4 inch Canvas Fun A63. Micromax is a big name in India now with 22 % of the market share. This phone will compete against phones like Intex Cloud X4, Videocon A42, Gionee P2 and Spice Stellar Glamour Mi-436 . It is expected to be priced below 7,000 INR.
