Display and Processor

Micromax Canvas Knight comes with a 5 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels whereas the iBerry Auxus Nuclea N2 gets a 5.7 inch display with a full HD resolution too. It is completely a matter of personal choice as to what screen size you like. Powering the Canvas Knight as well as the Auxus Nuclea N2 is a Mediatek MT6592 Octa Core chipset which gets clocked at 2GHz for the Micromax offering and iBerry offering has it at 1.7GHz. Aiding the multitasking abilities is a 2GB RAM common to both the devices.

Camera and Internal Storage

The Auxus Nuclea N2 has a 13MP camera unit at the rear which teams up with a 8MP front camera. The Canvas Knight, however gets a similarly specced front camera unit but a 16MP rear camera. So we will have to give this one to the Micromax offering. The Canvas Knight has its internal storage capacity standing at 32GB but it won’t get expanded as there is no microSD card slot. The iBerry Auxus Nuclea N2 gets 16GB of internal storage which is joined in by a microSD card slot which allows for expansion by another 64GB. So this one goes to the iBerry offering.

Battery and Operating System

Micromax Canvas Knight has a 2,350 mAh battery which comes in second place compared to the 3,500 mAh unit of the iBerry offering. The Auxus Nuclea N2 gets wireless charging as well and even though the battery has a bigger screen to power, it will still provide a battery backup which will be more than what the Canvas Knight will offer. Canvas Knight as well as the Auxus Nuclea N2 run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and will be upgradable in future so there are no favourites in this regard.

iBerry as a brand is still unknown to a major part of the nation and that will pose as an Achilles heel for the very capable Auxus Nuclea N2. Both the devices go hand in hand for the major part of the spec sheet. There is a trade-off between the better camera, higher internal storage and higher clock speed of the Canvas Knight and the better battery, bigger screen and expandable storage of the Auxus Nuclea N2. You wouldn’t falter either way but considering the fact that Micromax has a way better after sales support, we suggest that you go in for the Canvas Knight.
