Lumia 535 is fitted with a 5 Inch qHD (960 x 540) display, made durable by the presence of Gorilla Glass 3 on top. It’s an IPS LCD display panel unlike the AMOLED panel used in Lumia 730. Responsibility for smoothly sailing Windows 8.1 will be on Snapdragon 200 quad core CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz, with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. There is no dearth of secondary storage space as Lumia 535 supports 128 GB MicroSD storage.
Microsoft made a very big deal of Lumia 730’s selfie camera, and we did like it very much in our time with the device. The same front camera has been passed on to its low cost sibling as well. Both front and rear cameras have the same 5 MP sensor. The rear camera has a 28 mm lens on top. Battery capacity is 1905 mAh and the good thing is, that the battery is user replaceable. Microsoft claims 13 hours of 3G talk time, 8.5 hours of web browsing and 23 days of standby time. Other features include Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS and 3G. Microsoft is expected to launch the dual SIM variant of Lumia 535 in India. Since Microsoft has included the same Selfie shooter, which was the highlight of Lumia 730, it would be interesting to see how much the two phones differ from each other in terms of overall user experience and price.
