Android 8.0 Oreo: Some new features
— Juho Sarvikas (@sarvikas) November 24, 2017 While Android Nougat has done well, Android Oreo further refines the experience. The latest update brings faster boot speed (for Pixel) and adds utility features like Picture-in-Picture mode to use two apps at the same time. Another utility feature here is the smart Autofill which allows you to fill passwords faster. With a polished settings menu, you get a redesigned notification bar and notification dots in the launcher. This means you won’t miss a notification and will have adaptive dots on your app icons. Apart from these features, the Android 8.0 Oreo is the most secured Android till date and also optimizes battery to suit your usage. Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer of HMD Global, said “We’re proud to deliver our pure and secure take of Android 8.0 Oreo on the Nokia 8. We always want to give our fans the best possible Android experience. That’s why we’ve taken the time to test, optimize and refine the platform.”
