Camera and Internal Storage
The primary camera used is a 5 MP unit which can capture better images and videos under low light environments as it gets coupled with a LED flash. This average sensor at the back is paired with a VGA front camera that can render basic video calling and selfies. While these camera aspects sound less impressive, they are appropriate for the pricing of the device. Internal storage is paltry 4 GB which is disappointing. Though we cannot expect increased storage options from a handset at its pricing, Panasonic could have implemented at 8 GB of storage in the device making it a better offering in the entry-level segment. However, there is an expansion card slot that facilitates additional storage by another 32 GB.
Processor and Battery
The processor housed under the hood of the Panasonic T41 is a 1.3 GHz quad-core unit, but the chipset used remains unknown. We believe that this processor should suffice to handle the day to day tasks efficiently. Also, the quad-core processor is combined with a mere 512 MB of RAM that is disappointing. Battery capacity is also pretty low at 1,650 mAh that we doubt will last for long hours. The rivals of the handset in the entry-level market segment arrive with better battery capacities nearing 2,000 mAh to deliver enough power for them to last for a day under mixed usage.
Display and Other Features
The IPS display on Panasonic T41 measures 4.5 inches and it is braced with a FWVGA resolution of 480×854 pixels. The display should deliver decent color reproduction and acceptable viewing angles as it is an IPS panel. Also, these aspects make it another usual entry-level smartphone with an average display suitable for basic tasks. Panasonic T41 has dual SIM connectivity and it is fueled by Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. Furthermore, it packs a slew of standard connectivity options including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS for the users to be seamlessly connected on-the-go. The handset arrives in Pearl White and Bright Red color variants. The handset will come bundled with standard set of gesture features, music café, and POP I player from Panasonic. Also, there are freebies such as Hungama’s Latest Music and video download worth Rs 1,000, Evernote’s exclusive premium services worth Rs 1,800, Top 8 India 3 months subscription worth Rs 2,100, Today Digital Magazines and complimentary Readwhere Bouquet up to Rs 5,000.
Comparison
With a price tag of Rs 7,999 and the given specifications, the Panasonic T41 will definitely enter a direct rivalry with the devices such as Asus Zenfone 4.5, Moto E and Xolo Q600s.

Price and Conclusion
The Panasonic T41 with a slew of freebies seems expensive at Rs 7,999. But, if you find the freebies meaningful, effective cost will be reduced. Relatively less priced Zenfone 4.5 arrives with Gorilla Glass 3 scratch resistant coasting and 8 GB of internal storage that make it better. Hence, the Panasonic T41 will surely have to fight a tough battle with the new wave of budget gadgets which have significantly more impressive hardware.
