Now, Qualcomm, LG and Airtel have tied hands and have announced the launch of 4G LTE capable LG G2 smartphone in the country. This handset powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor supports Airtel 4G LTE network and it is available in Bangalore. Also, this is the first LG smartphone to be launched with 4G LTE in India.
LG also in collaboration with the chip maker and teleco set up a LTE experience zone in Bangalore in order to convey the benefits of blazing fast experience of LTE among the consumers. This LTE zone was available for three weeks starting from March 26 and features the LG G2 4G LTE enabled handset to stream FHD videos from the cloud and mirror the same on LG Curved OLED TV using the Airtel LTE networks. Users can enjoy LTE benefits such as super fast web browsing, high definition video streaming and multiplayer gaming with console quality.
The 4G LTE enabled LG G2 is fitted with a 5.2 inch FHD IPS display carrying FHD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and comes stuffed with a 2.26 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. There is 32 GB of internal storage that cannot be expandable. A 13 MP primary camera at the back with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 2.1 MP front camera take charge of the imaging department. Fueled by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the phone has a 3,000 mAh battery that can provide enough juice for the device to last for a day.
