Earlier, the Razer Phone was spotted on a UK based website. The highlights of the phone are its 5.72 inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate that’s not common in smartphones, dual rear cameras, Snapdragon 835, 8GB RAM and a big 4,000mAh battery.
Razer Phone Specifications
If we talk about specifications, the display is one of the USPs of the Razer Phone. The phone features a 5.7 inch QHD IZGO LCD panel with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The notable thing about Razer phone’s display is that it has a 120hz refresh rate which is something that doesn’t often come with smartphones.
Powering the Razer Phone is the Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with Adreno 540 GPU. The phone packs 8GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The internal storage is expandable up to 2TB with the microSD. The Razer phone runs Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box and it will get Android Oreo update by Q1 of 2018. For better gaming experience, the Razer Phone features Dolby Atmos sound front-facing dual speakers with dedicated amplifiers. In the camera department, the Razer phone has got a dual-camera setup on the back. The dual camera comes with a primary 12MP sensor with a f/1.7 aperture and a second 13MP sensor having 2x telephoto lens for optical zoom. The front camera with an 8MP sensor and f/2.0 aperture is also a standard one. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC. Notably, there is no headphone jack and its features a USB-C port. The phone houses a 4,000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4, which is perfect for gaming.
Pricing and Availability
The Razer Phone price is $699 in the US and it starts shipping on November 15. The phone will be sold unlocked for GSM carriers in the US. The Razer Phone pre-orders start November 3. There is no information when the phone will be launched in other countries.
