Dewdrop Notch Display
As hinted by the teaser, the Realme U1 will have a waterdrop style notch display just like the previous model Realme 2 Pro. The size and resolution of the display are still unknown, however, we expect it to be at least 6-inches in size and with an FHD+ resolution.
MediaTek Helio P70 Chipset
The company already confirmed this when MediaTek announced the latest chipset last month. Now, the teaser confirms that Realme U1 will be the first phone to have a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. The new octa-core P70 chipset from MediaTek is based on 12nm FinFET process. It promises to offer a boost in performance over its predecessor Helio P60.
Improved Selfie Camera
As the company said in the teaser, the Realme U1 would have the most powerful selfie camera ever in a phone. The company’s CEO Madhav Seth has now even shared the first front camera sample of Realme U1 on his Twitter account. The photo shared by him bears a watermark that suggests the Realme U1 will pack AI features in the front camera. It also seems that you can set up your own name to appear as the watermark on image. We are yet to know what sensor will be coming with the Realme U1’s selfie camera.
Dual Rear Cameras
The CEO has also been spotted with the Realme U1 at the event where he took that selfie. A picture shared by 91 Mobiles shows Madhav taking a selfie with the upcoming Realme U1 at Exhibit Tech Awards 2018 event in Mumbai. The photo reveals the back design of the device and it will sport dual rear cameras alongside the fingerprint sensor. The design of the Realme U1 looks quite similar to the Realme 2 Pro and it is expected to sport a glass back panel. Apart from above-mentioned details, no other feature or specifications of the Realme U1 has been leaked yet. We should all the details about the phone when it goes official next Wednesday.
