Realme launched its first flagship realme X2 Pro recently with the Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset and some other premium specs. Now, the company is planning to go even further and introduce the Realme X50 5G smartphone very soon. Realme CMO Xu Qi Chase posted an image on Weibo that confirms about the upcoming phone. The post with an outline of a phone reveals some features of the phone like dual selfie cameras in the upper left corner of a punch-hole display. This means the realme X50 5G will be the first phone from the brand with dual in-screen cameras.
Further, the phone will support dual-mode 5G mode which means both NSA and SA 5G networks. Both standalone and non-standalone 5G networks mean the Realme X50 5G will come with easier transition and broader coverage of the next-gen 5G connectivity. Realme hasn’t yet mentioned which chipset it will use in the phone but rumors suggest that the Realme X50 will get a Snapdragon 700 series chipset with 5G support. Though such chipset doesn’t exist as of now, Qualcomm may announce a new 700 series chipset with 5G at its December launch event and it may be called the Snapdragon 735 SoC. Looking at the image posted by CMO and rumored features, the Realme X50 will stand against the upcoming Redmi K30 which has also been teased with the same dual in-screen front cameras and 5G support. Realme is yet to reveal more information about the smartphone officially including the frame for its launch. Since Xiaomi has announced the launch date of Redmi K30, the launch of Realme X50 doesn’t seem so far. Also, at the Realme X2 Pro launch event in India, they announced to bring India’s first 5G smartphone within a few months.
