Under the hood, the Reliance phone incorporates a quad-core processor ticking at 1.3 GHz clock speed. This processor is aided by 1 GB of RAM that can render efficient and smooth multi-tasking. For imaging, the latest smartphone from Reliance’s stable packs a 13 MP primary snapper at its back supplemented with LED flash and BSI sensor for enhanced low light performance. There is also a 2 MP front-facing selfie camera onboard to assist in video conferencing and clicking self portrait shots. In terms of storage, the Reliance Reconnect bundles 8 GB of internal storage space that can be expanded by another 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. Connectivity wise, the handset comes packed with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS for seamless connectivity on-the-go. There is a standard 2,000 mAh battery that is capable of pumping in a backup of 6 to 7 hours of talk time and 225 hours of standby time. While its specifications appear to be reasonable making it a capable mid-ranger, the device lags behind on the competition forefront with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. As of now, there is no official word regarding the roll out of the KitKat update when the entry-level smartphones are based on this latest iteration of the platform.
