Jio and Google said that this will be achieved by creating a “Value-engineered” Android operating system. Google will release the new affordable 5G smartphone running this new optimized Android operating system. The company has also announced Google will be investing Rs 33,737 crore for a 7.7% stake in Jio platforms. With the help of Google, Mukesh Ambani said that he wanted to make India 2G-mukt (2G free).
