Earlier, it was expected that Xiaomi would launch the Mi 7 at MWC 2018. However, recently it was confirmed that Xiaomi may showcase the Mi MIX 2s at the MWC instead and the Mi 7 will be introduced around April this year. Now, a screenshot of the specifications of the alleged Mi 7 has been leaked online which was first spotted by PlayfulDroid.
Xiaomi Mi 7 Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi 7 is expected to come with a 5.65 inch full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The latest report also suggests that the successor to Mi 6 will come with an iPhone X-like notch at the top of the bezel-less display. Moreover, the high-end smartphone could also feature iPhone X like 3D facial recognition.
If we talk about optics, the Xiaomi Mi 7 will come with dual rear cameras – two 16MP sensors. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor as mentioned already. Memory wise, the phone could feature 6GB and 8GB RAM coupled with either 64GB or 128GB storage. The Mi 7 will come with the company’s latest MIUI 9 and it will be backed by a massive 4,480 battery, compared to a 3,350mAh one on the Mi 6. An earlier report from Chinese media also suggested that the Xiaomi Mi 7 would be the costliest flagship from the company. It could be made available at a starting price of 3,000 Yuan (Rs. 30,000 approx.) onwards, whereas the Xiaomi Mi series smartphones usually start at a low price.
