The company is selling all the models of Yi action cameras in India except the latest Yi 4K+, that is the world’s first camera to support 4K video recording at 60 FPS. In India though, Yi has launched the Yi 4K action camera with 4K video recording support for Rs. 17,990. Coming to the security cameras, the company launched two models of them. They will come with smart features and the pricing starts from just Rs. 2,990. Yi Technologies is a renowned name in the IP camera market. But it also makes action cameras. Last year, the company also launched its first mirrorless digital camera. Though, Yi has not launched that Yi M1 Mirrorless camera which costs $350 (approx. Rs. 22,500) in India. Following action and security cameras are launched by Yi Technologies in India.
Yi Home IP Camera
This IP camera features 1MP CMOS sensor with 111-degree wide-angle lens. It also features advanced night vision within 3 meters of viewing range. The security camera features a built-in microphone for two-way audio and video chat. Yi Home camera also comes with built-in high accuracy motion detection technology.
Yi Dome IP Camera
Yi Dome sports 1MP CMOS sensor with 112-degree wide-angle lens. It can capture media in 360-degree coverage with advanced night vision. It can capture 10 seconds smart motion tracking. This also features a built-in microphone for audio and video recording.
Yi 88012 Action Camera
This one is the mid-range action camera from Yi. It sports 16MP Sony IMX206 sensor, with the aperture of f/2.8. Further, it features 155-degree ultra wide-angle lens. It can shoot videos at [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected] The connectivity features on this camera include 2.4GHz Wi-Fi & Bluetooth 4.0.
Yi 4K Action Camera
This one is the most expensive camera released in India by Yi. The action camera can record 4K videos. It sports 12MP Sony IMX377 sensor, with f/2.8 aperture. It also features EIS (Electronic image stabilization). The camera features a 2.19-inch touchscreen with the resolution of 640 x 360 pixels. The screen is protected with Gorilla Glass protection.

Apart from China, the Yi products are sold in most of the world including the U.S and Europe. Now, the Yi has entered the Indian market. Similarly, as Xiaomi, the Yi products also offer nice features at an affordable price. It will be interesting to see how the Yi products perform since Xiaomi phones are selling like hotcakes.
