XOLO Tab has an 8 inch IPS display with 1024 x 768 pixel resolution. This amounts to pixel density of 160 ppi which is about same as most budget tablets below 10,000. IPS screen will ensure good viewing angles and brighter display. It also support pinch to Zoom and multi zoom features. This phone is powered by 1.2 GHz Snapdragon quad core processor, with Adreno 203 GPU. This is a powerful processor and will outperform other Mediatek processors we have seen in this range tablets so far. This processor can support 720p HD videos at 30 fps. RAM capacity is 1GB and internal storage is 4 GB. External memory can be further extended to 32GB using a MicroSD card. It has a 2 MP rear camera and a VGA front camera for video calling. The operating system employed is Android 4.1 jelly bean. The Li-pol battery capacity is pretty impressive at 4000 mAh and this tablet support 3G connectivity via SIM card. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi, AGPS and Bluetooth. XOLO Tab comes with decent specifications promising good specifications. Google’s Nexus 7 (~12,500 INR)also lies in the same price bracket now after the recent price drop. It will also compete against recently launched tablets like Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 210, Swipe MTV Slate and Simmtronic XPAD mini.
